Dear
Members,
We would like to thank you for
your support and contribution to wildlife on our farms. Your
membership dollars have created or restored valuable habitat
that wildlife need year-round. This year your membership fees
restored two wetlands projects. The largest is an eight acre
wetland restoration at the Big Prairie, this spring's heavy
rains filled it up in a week and the ducks and geese poured
in! We were amazed at the transformation-and the numbers of
waterfowl.
The smaller project was at Pine Hill-about two acres of restored
wetland, with depth for a warm water fishery.
We're happy to announce that our native prairie grass restoration
at Spring Creek Farm is completed. Thanks to all those who helped,
this is a wonderful addition to an already fabulous farm.
The New Clubhouse is up and running! This is a beautifully remodeled
farmhouse that's great for entertaining with super amenities
including catered meals! The clubhouse also makes a great gathering
spot before or after hunts. It provides the perfect setting
for story telling. It's located at Big Prairie, 3329 Johnson
Road. Also new at Big Prairie-Sporting Clays! This is a great
course through some wonderful country that's sure to challenge
all skill levels.
To all our members-thanks-your support has made our goals of
the finest hunting land, game birds, bird dogs, and quality
outdoor experience become a reality. |
